Game Plan

Tonight the Detroit Redwings set a record by winning a consecutive 21 games at home – a new NHL record.

Thinking about this I can’t help but think that they had a game plan going into the game so that they can win and set the record. The same thing should be done for us followers of Jesus. In my last post I admitted that I was overwhelmed with what direction I want to take my spiritual growth. Now I placed on my priorities to set a plan to grow spiritually and professionally. The cool thing is that there is a lot of great – free resources to take advantage of.

The lesson is this for all who follow Jesus – do not just approach your spiritual health with a low level of excellence or commitment. Be all in! Our Savior was all in for you – we should do the same thing. Easy to say, but hard to pit into practice.
