This time every year we see decorations in peoples yards and even see a  lot of Facebook pictures claiming that Jesus is the reason for the season.

It completely hit me like a ton of bricks the other day – Jesus is the season! It is deeper that the reason for the season. Jesus is not only the meaning of life –  Jesus gives life and IS life! Every season of our lives is about Jesus, we just have to grab that.

When we realize that Jesus is the season, then there is something deep in us that desires to give everything to HIM every day of the year! What I am trying to explain is very hard for me to put into words, but more of a heart longing in my life to seek more of Jesus. Not only during the Christmas season, but every day of the year for the rest of my life. I hope you have this desire as well.
